2010

This year our Dennis W Holder Scholarship Fund Gala will be held on Saturday October 2, 2010 at the Greer and Lowdermilk Conference Center at 4225 Interwood North Parkway at the HFRRF pension fund. There will be a reception, raffle items, gifts for attendees, dinner, silent auction, and dance. We will celebrate our scholarship recipients, donors, sponsors, and dignitaries. Our entertainment for this event will be Cooper Wade (www.cooperwade.com). 

Cooper Wade is quickly becoming a well known name in Texas and his popularity is growing exponentially!  Cooper has performed with other well known entertainers like Billy Currington, Easton Corbin, Kevin Fowler, Reckless Kelly & Roger Creager. We are very excited to have this energetic entertainer perform for us.

2009

It was a night to remember as we commemorated the legacy of Dennis W. Holder and celebrated our scholarship recipients, our generous sponsors and the many private citizens such as yourself who have unselfishly supported us through the years.

Through your generosity, we have once again awarded a total of over $241,000 in scholarship monies to 371 eligible recipients who each received $650 during the 2009 Fall semester.

We are very pleased to report that we have distributed a total of over $1.5 million in scholarship funds since we began awarding scholarships in the 2003 Fall semester.  This would not have been possible without your continued support.
