Opens March 1 and Closes June 1

New applicant Senior year in high school, or who has not been out of high school for more than two years.
Returning College or Graduate Student Student has received a DWHSF scholarship and has not exceeded the allowed one-time interruption which can last two years between semesters.
Dual College Credit 9th, 10th or 11th grade High School students enrolled in dual college credit program while still in High School.
Returning Dual College Credit 9th, 10th or 11th grade High School student who has received a scholarship from the DWHSF.

DWHSF Community Service Form
is a requirement for each new and
returning scholarship application.
The required 10 service hours
must have been completed
within 1 year of the application
date.

If your Firefighter sponsor is your grandparent, and your grandparent sponsor is deceased, download the form, and have the next of kin to the deceased grandparent sponsor complete and notarize the deceased grandparent affidavit.
