Dennis W. Holder Scholarship Fund

The mission of the Dennis W. Holder Scholarship Fund is to impact the lives of firefighter personnel families in Houston and Harris County by providing tuition assistance and education scholarships to their children to attend an accredited university, college, or technical training school.

Our vision is to ensure that children of all firefighter personnel families are able to afford a higher education at an accredited university, college, or technical training school.

Service Values Using Firefighter traits of integrity, leadership, self-sacrifice and service, the Dennis W. Holder Scholarship Fund recognizes the qualities of servant leadership. We encourage our students to mimic these same servant leadership qualities in their life goals and chosen career paths to uplift communities and the world at large.
